PepsiCo At the national level, PepsiCo is working with Femexpalma to consolidate its role in representing and supporting the sustainability of the palm oil sector, including through capacity building of Femexpalma’s members. At the supplier level, PepsiCo is engaging with Oleofinos, PepsiCo’s main supplier, to improve transparency and traceability of Oleofinos palm.
At the smallholder farm level, PepsiCo engages with Oleopalma to identify areas of improvement for farmers through conducting surveys, and with these results help to implement sustainable practices. PepsiCo has partnered with Proforest and Control Union to provide technical guidance and support locally.
Femexpalma
The Mexico National Palm Oil Federation, Femexpalma is an independent entity that represents palm production – palm oil growers and mills – at the national level and promotes the increase of productivity in a sustainable way.
Femexpalma provides expert advice, capacity building and applied research in the palm oil industry. The organization ensures collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the palm oil industry in Mexico.

Oleopalma is a 100% Mexican-owned company specialized in the growing and extraction of palm oil. Member of Grupo Oleomex. Oleopalma has a strong commitment to the environment that is expressed through their Environmental Management Plan and their Environmental Policy.
Oleopalma works every day to ensure that their operations are carried out according to the RSPO principles to prevent, mitigate or control adverse impacts arising from their operations. Oleopalma is the first RSPO certified company in México.

Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) The Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is the leading global organization that certifies production of palm oil is sustainably sourced. PepsiCo has a commitment to ensure 100% of palm oil is RSPO certified by 2020 and Nestlé by 2023.

A non-profit group that helps manage natural resources sustainably, Proforest has expertise in the responsible production and sourcing of palm oil, soy, sugar, beef, timber, and other agricultural commodities.
Proforest works with governments, producers, and other private sector partners, as well as civil society organizations and NGOs throughout agricultural product supply chains.
